The Macanudo series is created by Liniers, a fellow at the Center for Cartoon Studies in Vermont, USA. In Macanudo he portrayes the Argentina he grew up in. There, Macanudo meant “cool”. And that’s what this series is – in more ways than one.
The environment and characters in Macanudo are both stunning and philosophical in a way that makes the series completely unique and thus a good complement to the Strip series range that exists today.
